Dua Lipa (born in London) is an English artist and singer. She was born on the 22nd of August 1995 in London United Kingdom. After a stint as a model and actress, she was signed to Warner Bros Records. She dropped her self-titled debut album in 2017. The album peaked at third place in the U.K. Albums Chart and produced eight singles which included Be The One I.D.G.A.F as well as the U.K. Number One song New Rules which peaked at number six in the United States. Lipa's album, which is now been recognized as Platinum in several countries across the world has won the two Brit Awards (in the year of 2018) for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough act. Dua Lipa was born by London with Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin Lilipa (father). Dua Lipa has Bosnian descent through her maternal grandmother. Also, her ancestors come from Peja, which is a Kosovo town Peja. The Lipa's grandparents are historians. They have a brother Gjin Lipa as well as a sister Rina. Lipa was heavily influenced by her father, who also serves as the lead musician and vocalist for The Kosovan the group Oda.
